What is the difference between the NCETM and NCETMB exams?

The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) has two methods of certification; The National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage (NCETM) and the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCETMB). The variations are the eligibility requirements. Make sure you contact your state board first to determine the right exam they accept.

General Knowledge of Body Systems:
Craniosacral
Energetic
Meridian
Detailed Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology and Kinesiology:
Primary and extraordinary meridians
Chakras
Meridians/channels
Pathology:
Approaches used in Asian medicine by other health professionals
Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork Application:
Asian energy bodywork
Western energy bodywork
