Massage Therapy Advisory Committee- Massage Therapy is under the direction of the State Medical Board of Ohio. Before training is to begin, send in the Application for Preliminary Education form- along with $35 to the State Medical Board. After you have completed your training in massage you are to submit an application for examination to the Medical Board. The Massage training school is to guide you through this process; some schools may even include the fee for the examination ($250) in the cost of your tuition. The exam is given two times a year, once in December and the other in June. In order to schedule an exam time you must meet the application deadline of August 1st for the December exam and February 1st for June.
